Job summary

Coastal Womens Healthcare Inc. seeks a Lab Technician to run and review routine tests in our on-site Scarborough lab. You’ll support providers with timely results and collaborate with phlebotomists in a precision-focused, team-oriented environment.

The role requires an Associate degree in medical lab tech, MLT (ASCP) certification or eligibility, and lab experience is preferred though new graduates are welcome. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field is required.
• MLT (ASCP) certification or eligibility is required or encouraged.
• Laboratory experience preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory tests following established procedures.
• Run quality control and maintain lab equipment.
• Review results for accuracy and report them in a timely manner.
• Process specimens for in-house testing and send-out to reference labs.
• Keep accurate records and follow safety and compliance requirements.
• Assist with specimen collection when needed.
