Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Supply Center Specialist to support day-to-day operations in a fast-paced laboratory and scientific supply environment. You will be a primary contact for researchers, procurement teams, and lab personnel, ensuring critical products are available while delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities include managing inventory, receiving shipments, restocking, auditing accuracy, and collaborating with account teams to relay customer feedback and trends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in customer service, retail, inventory management, supply chain, laboratory support, or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and inventory management tools.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally between customer locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers and provide outstanding service by responding to product inquiries and supporting day-to-day supply needs.
• Manage inventory activities, including receiving shipments, unpacking products, restocking shelves, rotating inventory, and conducting audits to maintain accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and usage trends to ensure timely replenishment and product availability.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional supply center environment while ensuring merchandising and branding standards are met.
• Assist with implementing product promotions, educational events, product demonstrations, and customer engagement activities.
• Partner with commercial and account management teams to communicate customer feedback, purchasing trends, and market insights.
• Utilize inventory and order management systems to track product usage, place orders, and maintain accurate records.
• Analyze purchasing and inventory trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and business growth.
• Support training and onboarding activities for new team members as needed.
• Complete all required company training and perform additional duties as assigned.
