Wolfoods seeks an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead daily culinary operations at a on-site, high-volume summer camp. This hands-on leadership role involves staff supervision, budgeting, allergen safety, and ensuring top-quality scratch cooking for campers.

Position is seasonal (May–Sept), live-in, with demanding 6-day/70-hour weeks in rustic settings; strong operational and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification required; Allergens knowledge preferred.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs; willingness to live on-site.

Responsabilités

• Operations & Leadership: Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Culinary & Quality Excellence: Manage operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Allergen & Safety Compliance: Strictly manage allergy protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.) and maintain health department sanitation standards.
• Administration & Budget: Handle inventory, food orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Client Relations: Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
