Verda is building a full-stack AI cloud and operates globally with offices in Helsinki, London, and San Francisco. We are hiring a Junior Data Center Technician to join the on-site team, supporting high-density GPU infrastructure and the physical layer of production systems.

You will gain hands-on experience across servers, storage, and cabling while working alongside experienced technicians. The role offers a clear growth path within a dynamic, 24/7 operational environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on aptitude for operating in a physical infrastructure environment.
• Experience in a data center or similar critical work setting is desirable.
• Proven ability to handle hardware tasks and rack-and-stack operations.
• On-site availability and willingness to participate in 24/7 shift rotations.
• Structured problem solving and methodical fault analysis are valued.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain servers, storage, networking gear, and cabling.
• Replace failed hardware components (drives, fans, PSUs, motherboards, CPUs).
• Rack and stack equipment and manage cabling and labeling.
• Test cables and fibre links; trace faults to the affected component.
• Handle general site operations from receiving inventory to site checks.
