Job summary

Nebius B.V. is seeking a Data Center Technician to maintain and optimize the IT infrastructure in our Minnesota data center. You will work hands-on with server hardware, network gear and the H200 GPU cloud cluster to diagnose issues, perform repairs and ensure uptime for critical systems.

You'll collaborate with internal teams and contractors, manage RMAs, document configurations, and monitor fiber optic connectivity. The role can require travel between data center locations and is shift-based.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience diagnosing and resolving server hardware issues.
• Solid understanding of data center operations and server/network hardware principles.
• Basic proficiency with Linux and command-line tools.
• Experience with enterprise-grade network switches and fiber optic cables.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas).

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and resolving issues related to IT hardware and ensuring continuous IT infrastructure support.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external contractors to address technical and operational challenges.
• Installation, upgrading and dismantling hardware based on requests and requirements.
• Managing fiber optic connectivity and patch cords.
• Planning, executing and monitoring regular IT tasks to maintain IT operations.
• Processing RMAs in compliance with manuals and procedures.
• Developing documentation for hardware configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance.
