Job summary

Verda is building a high-density GPU infrastructure and operates 24/7. We’re seeking a Junior Data Center Technician to gain hands-on experience on real production hardware, working on-site with an experienced shift team.

You’ll cover hardware, cabling and general site operations, with a clear path to grow into broader responsibilities within a fast-moving, globally connected environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical or operations experience in data centers or similar environments.
• Aptitude for hardware work and rack-and-stack tasks.
• Basic understanding of copper and fibre network cabling.
• Methodical fault-diagnosis approach.
• Operational discipline and escalation when unsure.
• Willingness to work on-site in shift rotations.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and broad scope of work.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain servers, storage, networking gear, and cabling.
• Replace failed components: drives, fans, PSUs, motherboards, CPUs.
• Rack and stack servers, switches, and supporting equipment.
• Install, route, and label copper and fibre cabling.
• Test cable/fibre links and trace faults to failing components.
• Handle general site operations from receiving to inventory and site checks.
