Job summary

TensorWave seeks a Data Center Technician to install and maintain data center infrastructure, working with cross-functional teams to deploy advanced workloads. You will install, configure, and test hardware, monitor performance, and coordinate with remote teams to ensure timely project completion.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in data center ops, a solid networking/servers/storage background, and travel willingness.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data center operations with hardware install and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure including networking, servers, storage.
• Excellent problem-solving and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration within a national operations team.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test new data center infrastructure.
• Perform maintenance and upgrades to ensure reliability and performance.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot to maintain operations.
• Coordinate with local and remote teams for timely project completion.
• Maintain meticulous installation and maintenance records per standards.
• Ensure safety, quality, and data center management best practices on-site.
• Provide on-site technical support during critical incidents or outages on rotation.
