Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking a Welder to join metal fabrication crews, performing GTAW, SMAW, FACW, and GMAW welds per project specs. You will read blueprints, prepare joints, select fillers, and work with other trades on site.

This full-time role requires safety-focused work, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to travel up to 90% to project sites. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, weld symbols and instructions.
• Knowledge of Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and QC programs.
• Ability to perform multiple welding processes (GTAW, SMAW, FACW, GMAW) as project requires.
• Work safely and follow site safety rules; participate in toolbox talks.

Responsibilities

• Join metal components using welding processes per site specs and codes.
• Read drawings and weld symbols to execute welds accurately.
• Prepare surfaces, select fillers, and ensure proper joint details.
