Job summary

Kings III Emergency Communications seeks an IT Systems & Network Administrator to own and secure critical infrastructure in a 24x7 emergency environment. You’ll manage servers, networks, Microsoft 365, identity, backups, telecom, and endpoints as part of a close-knit IT team.

The role is hands-on and on-site at our Coppell, TX headquarters. You’ll lead projects from planning through go-live, troubleshoot escalated issues, and contribute to security, DR, and SOC 2 controls while documenting

Qualifications

• 3+ years administering servers, networks, identity, Microsoft 365, and security tooling.
• Hands-on experience with virtualized server environments (VMware or Hyper-V).
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization.
• A learner’s mindset with the ability to both teach and be taught.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and secure physical and virtual servers in Microsoft on-premises and cloud environments.
• Administer networks including switches, firewalls, wireless, SANs, and monitoring platforms.
• Support Active Directory and Azure AD (Entra ID) in a hybrid environment.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services and integrated applications.
• Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity systems.
• Support SIP-based telecom platforms and related infrastructure.
• Secure and manage endpoints and mobile devices using MDM and security tooling.
• Support security operations, incident response, and evidence collection for SOC 2 controls across access management, change management, and monitoring.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
