Job summary

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is seeking a System Administrator for our Columbus, Ohio location. This on-site role supports Windows desktops, printers, and end-user devices while collaborating on Intune, SCCM, and Power Platform projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in service desk, help desk, desktop support or similar IT role.
• Experience providing advanced or Tier III level support.
• Proficient with Windows 10/11 and common Microsoft technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier III support for internal users and hardware.
• Handle software access, permissions, licensing, and account management.
• Support Windows 10/11 deployment, imaging, patching, and admin tasks.
• Administer SCCM and Intune for app deployment and updates.
• Assist with migration from SCCM to Intune.
• Support Defender, GPO, and other Microsoft IT services.
• Assist with Power Platform environments including lifecycle and deployment.
• Troubleshoot printers and RF scanners including Datalogic devices.
• Assist basic networking tasks such as patching and switch projects.
• Monitor alerts and follow runbooks to resolve or escalate.
