Job summary

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is seeking a System Administrator for our Columbus, Ohio location. This on-site role supports Windows desktops and end-user devices, manages SCCM/Intune, and assists with Power Platform, networking, and other Microsoft technologies to keep the IT environment reliable and responsive.

Qualifications

2+ years in a service desk, help desk, desktop support, or similar IT role.
Experience providing advanced/Tier III-level technical support.
Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 environments.
Experience with SCCM, Intune, Defender, AD, GPO, and Microsoft 365.
Familiarity with imaging, patching, application deployment, and workstation administration.
Basic understanding of networking concepts.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier III technical support for internal users (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, apps).
Manage software access, permissions, licensing, and account management.
Support deployment and administration of Windows 10/11 workstations.
Administer endpoint management via SCCM and Intune; assist migration to Intune.
Support Power Platform environments (lifecycle, deployment, accounts).
Troubleshoot printers and RF devices; assist with networking projects.
