Job summary

Kimball Midwest, a nationwide distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is seeking an IT Project Manager for our Columbus, OH location. This onsite role requires leadership across the project lifecycle, with a focus on scope, milestones, budget, and stakeholder communication.

We value 5+ years of PM experience or PMI-PMP, strong proficiency in MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, and Dynamics, and practical Agile experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience or PMI certification (PMI-PMP).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, SharePoint, and Dynamics.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Leads the planning, implementation, tracking, budget, and communication surrounding projects.
• Oversees all aspects of the project life cycle, coordinating the charter, management plan, work, changes, and closing.
• Facilitates the definition of scope, goals/milestones, and deliverables.
• Develops project plans by defining tasks and resource requirements.
• Assembles and coordinates project staff.
• Manages project budget and understands fiscal components of projects.
• Manages project resource allocation and schedules for timely completion.
• Coordinates processes, enforces deadlines, and communicates standards.
• Monitors progress and reports to stakeholders; presents progress and solutions.
• Implements changes and identifies continuous improvement opportunities.
