Custom Alarm is seeking an IT Systems Administrator in Rochester, MN to maintain and support our technology, including Microsoft 365 and SharePoint. You will manage onboarding/offboarding, licensing, and security while collaborating across teams to ensure reliable systems and data reporting.

The role emphasizes governance, automation opportunities, and vendor coordination in a on-site setting, with a 70-employee company and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-year Associate’s Degree or equivalent.
• Three to five years’ experience in computer network maintenance.
• CompTIA A+ Technician certification.
• Microsoft 365 proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support company technology, including computers, networks, phones, printers, and communication systems.
• Administer Microsoft 365 applications, security, permissions, and licensing; oversee SharePoint strategy and governance.
• Support business systems, data transfers, and software implementations; maintain SQL-based reports.
• Manage budgets, licenses, and hardware lifecycle planning; document systems and roadmaps.
• Identify opportunities for AI and automation; monitor privacy and security risks.
