Job summary

Black Diamond Equipment Rental, LLC is seeking an IT Tier 1/2 Support Technician to maintain reliable technology across the organization. This on-site role provides first- and second-level support for hardware, software, networking, accounts, printers, phones, and mobile devices used in daily rental and leasing operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical IT training preferred.
• Experience with Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for Tier 1 requests and Tier 2 troubleshooting.
• Diagnose, resolve, and document hardware, software, network, printer, and account issues.
• Set up and maintain desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, phones, and mobile devices.
• Create, modify, and disable user accounts and access per procedures.
• Support Microsoft 365, Windows, remote access tools, and endpoint security.
• Escalate complex issues and keep users informed until resolution.
• Maintain records of requests, inventory, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
• Assist with software updates, patching, backups, and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Provide user training on tools and security practices.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, and workstation moves as needed.
