Job summary

Black Diamond in Uniontown, PA is seeking an IT Tier 1/2 Support Technician to maintain reliable technology systems across the organization. You will provide first- and second-level support for hardware, software, networking, and Microsoft 365, helping users and ensuring business continuity.

This on-site role requires strong customer service, documentation, and collaboration with IT leadership. Candidates with 1–3 years in help desk and certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical IT training preferred.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and basic networking.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and user access issues with good communication.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and endpoint protection is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for Tier 1 help desk requests and provide Tier 2 troubleshooting.
• Diagnose, resolve, and document hardware, software, network, printer, and user account issues.
• Set up and maintain desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, phones, and mobile devices.
• Create and modify user accounts, permissions, and group access per procedures.
• Support Microsoft 365 apps, Windows workstations, remote access tools, and security measures.
• Escalate complex issues while keeping users informed of progress until resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of requests, equipment inventory, and recurring problems.
• Assist with software updates, patches, backups, and basic cybersecurity initiatives.
