Job summary

Aramark in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking an IT Support Worker for LSU Athletic Venues and Events. The role covers day-to-day IT needs for POS, back office, networking and other systems, aligned with the IT Lead.

Responsibilities include proactive support during events, troubleshooting IT issues, and clear communication with owners and vendors. The position requires comfort working in dynamic stadium environments and lifting or moving up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in IT or related field preferred but not required
• Experience troubleshooting IT issues and providing hands-on support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of IT systems and infrastructure
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in concessions, retail or stadium environments preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support for POS, back office, networking and other systems
• Support event-based IT needs and coordinate with venue IT Lead
• Troubleshoot incidents and communicate issues to application owners/vendors
• Maintain high-quality IT services and security awareness during events
• Be mobile between properties and assist onsite leadership as needed
