Job summary

Jabil in Prince George, VA is launching a new factory onsite to assemble and test large form-factor equipment. The role supports startup operations, builds and documents test processes, and helps onboard manufacturing staff for ground-up operations.

Key duties include coordinating test readiness, creating workflows, and training teams on test solutions, fixtures, and tooling. The shift is 2PM–10:30PM, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Ability to present information to groups of managers, clients, and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficient with Windows OS and related software.
• Advanced PC skills including Jabil software packages.
• Ability to read and write simple correspondence; read visual aids.
• Ability to follow simple one- or two-step instructions.

Responsibilities

• Support Test Engineer in developing and commissioning test solutions.
• Provide deliverables to support production for Test Support and Manufacturing Operations.
• Assist in building testers, fixtures and environmental tooling.
• Provide documentation and training for all test solutions implemented.
• Coordinate training and education for all test operations implemented.
• Monitor test yields, efficiency, uptime and report improvements.
• Upgrade the test process balancing cost and coverage for optimization.
• Coordinate timetable for test readiness with Test Support staff.
