Job summary

St. Thomas Community Health Center is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide on-site technical support for PCs, laptops, printers, network issues, and end-user assistance in our New Orleans location.

You will handle software updates and imaging, troubleshoot Epic EHR-related problems, and help users navigate IT services. The role requires strong troubleshooting, multitasking, and clear communication in a healthcare setting, with opportunities to train staff and contribute to efficient IT

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a technical support role.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and common software applications.
• Experience with Epic Electronic Health Record system (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and other devices.
• Perform software updates and PC imaging.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
• Assist users with navigating and troubleshooting Epic EHR software.
• Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Adapt and learn new technologies.
• Utilize and maintain a ticketing system to track and document support calls.
• Provide end-user support for all IT services.
• Offer training and guidance to end-users on IT-related topics.
• Track and document hardware inventory.
