Job summary

General Dynamics Land Systems seeks an IT Technician to serve as the primary IT services contact at a Lima site. You will handle end-user support, maintenance, and coordination with GDLS headquarters teams to ensure site requirements are met.

The role requires strong hardware knowledge, on-call support for remote users, and the ability to work with users of varying technical levels. Strong communication and teamwork are essential at this site in Ohio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in IT or related discipline, or 10+ years' related experience.
• 5-7 years’ experience in desktop services, network services and/or server/storage services.
• A+ or Microsoft MC certification is a bonus.
• Reading and interpreting technical manuals and OEM guides.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support and maintenance at the site.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for end users.
• Coordinate with GDLS HQ IT teams to meet site requirements and needs.
• Document equipment failures, repairs, and changes in detail.
• Perform on-site and remote analysis and resolution of complex issues.
