Job summary

Fulton County Schools seeks a Technology Support Specialist to provide on-site end-user support, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and ensure incidents are resolved in alignment with district standards.

The role collaborates with the Technology Support Center and maintains clear communication with stakeholders while safeguarding data security and digital safety for students. On-site work at district facilities is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or 2 years of related technology experience per year of college (4 years)
• CompTIA A+ certification required
• A minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated relevant experience required
• Familiarity with enterprise IT support tools and systems such as Active Directory, endpoint management, and service management platforms

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site troubleshooting and resolution of hardware, software, network, and instructional technology issues across district facilities
• Manages service requests through the District ticketing system and meets SLA definitions
• Maintains clear, bi-directional communication regarding incident status with staff and stakeholders
• Ensures end-user experiences are positive through responsiveness and follow-through
• Supports deployment of new technology in alignment with district standards
• Installs, configures, and deploys end-user devices and maintains inventory records
