Job summary

Gwinnett County Public Schools seeks an IT Support Technician to provide on-site technical assistance at one or more schools. You will handle hardware, software, AV, and basic network support, while documenting issues and maintaining inventory.

You will collaborate with district staff to implement technology initiatives, train staff, and ensure readiness for testing environments and instructional programs.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support to a single school or multiple schools on a daily basis via ticketing system.
• Offer level 1 setup, configuration, repair and support for hardware, software, basic networking, AV equipment.
• Respond to incident reports promptly and professionally.
• Isolate LAN/WAN connectivity issues and manage equipment inventory as required.
• Assist in staff development and training on technology use.
• Ensure devices for online testing are ready for administration.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
