The role focuses on first-line troubleshooting, incident logging, and user assistance across multiple platforms in a 100% in-person setting on campus.

Responsibilities include handling Help Desk inquiries, configuring equipment, and supporting four IT labs and Service Desk operations.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Eighteen months of related full-time work experience or equivalent, such as completion of eighteen college credits in Information Technology.
Demonstrated English language proficiency.
A motor vehicle driver's license, valid in New York State, may be required for some positions.

Responsibilities

Operate, transport, adjust, and install/configure computing equipment.
Assist students, faculty and staff with routine operations and problem resolution at the Service Desk and IT Center.
Create and manage tickets in the IT work order system (Track-It and ServiceNow) and monitor service requests.
Assist with training of new staff and student workers at the Help Desk and IT Center.
Troubleshoot application and network access issues and prepare daily/weekly reports.
