Job summary

Questeq Inc. is seeking an On-Site Information Technology Specialist to support Peters Township School District in Canonsburg, PA. You will assist with desktops, laptops, mobile devices and printers across the district, ensuring reliable operation and quick issue resolution.

You will image computers, deploy standard images, manage patches, maintain AD policies, and interact with staff by phone and in person. Strong troubleshooting and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technically related field preferred.
• Experience providing computer and network support.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Must possess extensive troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for both internal and external communications.

Responsibilities

• New computer setup including imaging, software installation and hardware upgrades.
• Conducts problem identification and resolution with a focus on help desk tickets.
• Develops desktop strategies and configuration alternatives to meet customer needs.
• Architects, creates, deploys and maintains standard workstation images for desktops and laptops.
• Architects and implements patch distribution management (desktop).
• Ensures workstation OS has latest security updates and manages BIOS & driver maintenance.
• Understands Active Directory group policies and manages application groups.
• Interact with customers on the telephone and in person.
• Provides ongoing hardware and software support for all technologies.
• Addresses help desk tickets efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoots and resolves technology failures, documenting required changes.
• Manages multiple priorities including tickets, projects and other tasks.
• Keeps current with technology trends related to the position.
