Job summary

Richard is hiring an IT Specialist to support employees in Chicago, ensuring technology availability and smooth onboarding. You will manage inventory, hardware setup, software licenses, and onboarding/offboarding while maintaining organized records throughout the lifecycle.

You will collaborate with HR, project teams, and IT partners to provide reliable support, improve processes, and enable Richard to grow with secure, efficient IT operations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in IT support or help desk.
• Experience with Windows laptops and mobile devices.
• Experience maintaining asset inventories and software licenses.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• AEC industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate IT asset inventory (laptops, iPads, mobile devices).
• Configure and deploy IT equipment and access provisioning.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding with HR and IT partners.
• Maintain software license records and renewal dates.
• Provide day-to-day support for apps and sign-in issues.
• Manage IT tickets and coordinate escalations to vendors.
• Coordinate jobsite tech requirements with project teams.
• Maintain IT documentation and onboarding/offboarding checklists.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements.
• Ensure equipment is configured per security standards.
