Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to support the Air Force National Capital IT Services program at Joint Base Andrews, MD. This on-site role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, managing scope and schedule, and delivering IT services for AFNCR leadership and agencies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong PM background, PMP certification within 6 months, and an active Secret clearance. Experience with military programs and excellent communication are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• PMP Certification within 6 months.
• Active Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Military/AF experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Project Manager will work with customers, other project managers, internal staff, and support personnel to execute the AFNCR ITS Program Mission.
• Prioritize, plan, organize, train, assess, and manage resources to ensure projects are within scope and time constraints.
• Work both in a team environment and independently on moderately complex projects.
• Plan, coordinate and manage small and medium projects.
• Integrate all functions and activities to meet client requirements.
• Present project information to customers, leadership and peers.
• Create project management plans and ensure alignment with procedures.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop scope, objectives, goals, and deliverables.
• Ensure requirements are gathered, documented, reviewed, and approved per PMO standards.
• Deliver projects on time, on budget, and within scope.
• Monitor dependencies and create a work breakdown structure.
• Provide clear written and verbal project communications (weekly status, dashboards, updates).
• Monitor, track, and manage tasks, timelines, milestones, and quality.
