Job summary

TekSynap Corporation seeks a Project Manager - Journeyman to support the AFNCR team at Joint Base Andrews, MD. The role oversees project plans, budgets and schedules while interfacing with Air Force agencies and vendors. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications include active DoD Secret clearance, 3-5 years PM experience, PMP and Security+ certifications, and proficiency with Microsoft Project. Hybrid work environment with health, dental and retirement benefits offered.

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• 3-5 years of project management experience.
• PM certifications: PMP and CompTIA Security+.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage small, medium and large projects.
• Coordinate with agencies within and external to the Air Force like DISA, JSP, Army, and commercial vendors.
• Direct project team personnel, manage cost and schedule, ensure contract compliance, and serve as customer interface.
• Manage technical, cost, and schedule of assigned tasks or functions.
• Provide leadership to engage multidiscipline teams to respond to business needs.
• Make decisions at the project team level and accelerate unresolved decisions.
• Lead project team members through the lifecycle with multiple vendors.
• Create project management plans, set expectations and ensure alignment with procedures.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop scope, objectives, goals, and deliverables.
• Ensure requirements are gathered, documented, reviewed and approved.
• Deliver projects on-time, on-budget, in-scope; monitor dependencies.
• Create a work breakdown structure and manage budget, forecasts and accruals.
• Provide high-quality written and verbal communications with weekly status and dashboards.
• Monitor and manage project tasks, timelines and milestones.
