Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Project Manager to support the AFNCR IT Services program at Joint Base Andrews, MD. The role focuses on coordinating cross-functional teams, delivering projects on time and within scope, and communicating status to customers and leadership.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of PM experience, a Bachelor’s degree, active DoD Secret clearance, and PMP within 6 months. You will thrive in a fast-paced defense environment and partner with stakeholders to meet mission-critical

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Solid understanding of Project Management and PMO functions.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
• PMP Certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage small and medium projects.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop project scope, objectives, goals, and deliverables.
• Create project management plans and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Provide weekly status updates, dashboards, and communications to stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
