Job summary

Escalade Sports is seeking a Director of IT Operations to lead the day-to-day delivery of our technology infrastructure, IBM systems, and internal development efforts. The role reports to the VP, IT and acts as the organization’s #2 in IT, with a clear path toward broader IT leadership.

You will own incident response, vendor and budget exposure, IT general controls awareness, and strategic platform support while remaining hands-on with architecture and escalated issues.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience in a mixed technical environment (infrastructure, systems, or applications).
• Proven experience managing managers, not just individual contributors.
• Familiarity with SOX and ITGC in regulated environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operational delivery across infrastructure, IBM systems, and development teams.
• Own incident response and escalation processes to reduce single points of failure.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and architectural input alongside teams on high-complexity problems.
