Job summary

The Chemours Company in Louisville, KY is seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our Information Technology team. This on-site role supports a manufacturing site by providing reliable end-user and plant-floor computing support and maintaining equipment to enable safe, effective business operations.

You will install, configure, and test software on company devices, provide training, and develop documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of direct IT support experience in a corporate or technical environment.
• Strong technical skills in supporting desktop/PC hardware, peripherals, and Microsoft 365/Office 365 Suite.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Operating Systems, including Windows 10 and Windows 11.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, as needed.
• Role is required to be 100% on site/in person.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site end-user and plant-floor IT support to resolve technology issues.
• Install, configure, and test software on company-issued devices and networks.
• Provide training to end-user support resources and employees on the use of technology.
• Develop and maintain support technician documentation, tools, and processes.
• Adhere to established procedures, global policies, and process workflows across all support areas.
• Serve as a customer advocate and ensure user needs are addressed and resolved.
• Support site-specific manufacturing technologies and related tools and systems.
• Provide second-tier support for end-user escalations, including potential off-hours on-site support.
