Day & Zimmermann seeks an IT Supervisor to lead on-site IT/IA operations at Hawthorne Army Depot in Nevada. A working supervisor role, you will mentor staff while performing hands-on tasks to maintain mission-critical systems and secure IT services.

You will coordinate with the IT Manager, government representatives, and enterprise teams, ensuring documentation, training, and compliance with DoD requirements while managing changes and incident responses.

Competenze

• AA in IT/CS/IS/Engineering or related field required.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, certifications, and relevant experience may be considered.
• 7+ years of relevant experience (PWS Level 3 IT/IA Lead) required.

Mansioni

• Lead on-site IT/IA operations as a working supervisor; assign and prioritize work, supervise and mentor staff, maintain coverage, assess performance, and assist with tasks and escalations as needed.
• Perform hands-on technical support across network, server, endpoint, communications, and related IT infrastructure; diagnose faults and coordinate restoration.
• Coordinate cybersecurity support including patching, vulnerability remediation, STIG/IAVM actions, access-control support, and incident response.
• Perform maintenance, LAN administration, network troubleshooting, upgrades, backups, and change-control activities; mentor staff as needed.
• Maintain configuration, assets, and documentation; ensure contract deliverables and government review evidence.
• Liaise on-site with IT management, government representatives, and vendors; communicate outages, risks, and corrective actions.
• Support hiring, onboarding, workforce planning, training, certification tracking, and government-directed training.
