Day & Zimmermann is seeking an IT Supervisor on-site at Hawthorne Army Depot (HWAD) to lead IT/IA operations and perform hands-on technical work. You will supervise staff, coordinate with Government representatives, and ensure mission-essential services remain reliable, secure, and well-documented.

The role requires 7+ years of IT/IA experience at PWS Level 3, a AA in IT or related field, and knowledge of DoD 8570/8140 role requirements, security controls, and incident coordination.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT/IA leadership experience.
• Experience supporting DoD or government customers.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, patching, and STIG/IAVM practices.

Responsabilités

• Lead on-site IT/IA operations as a working supervisor; supervise and mentor staff and assist with escalations as needed.
• Perform hands-on support across network, server, endpoint, and related IT infrastructure; diagnose faults and restore services.
• Coordinate cybersecurity tasks including patches, vulnerability remediation, access control, and security incident response.
• Maintain system documentation, assets, licenses, network diagrams, and change records.
• Communicate outages, risks, and corrective actions to stakeholders and government channels.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and coordination with Government programs and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with government change control and contract requirements during maintenance.
