Job summary

Motrex LLC in Manchester, IA is seeking a Desk Side Support Technician to provide day-to-day break-fix IT support to the enterprise user community. This on-site role collaborates with other IT groups to keep operations running and supports all NA sites.

Responsibilities include diagnosing hardware/software issues, imaging desktops, laptops, printers, maintaining CMDB records, and coordinating with vendors as needed. Strong customer service and punctual, detail-oriented work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years enterprise PC support experience
• Proficient with Windows 11, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Ethernet, TCP/IP, and smart device ecosystems (iPad, iPhone, Android)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face, phone and online break-fix support to enterprise users
• Maintain and image desktops, laptops, peripherals, and Zebra printers/scanners
• Coordinate with other IT groups and vendors as needed
• Document all activities, changes and incidents in CMDB
• Install and maintain software resources and ensure assets are documented
• Support plant-floor technical issues on-site five days a week
