Job summary

MCA, a New Charter Technologies company, seeks a proactive Technical Support Representative to deliver Tier 1 IT support in a fast-paced Chattanooga environment. You will be the first point of contact for end users and collaborate with NOC and other IT teams.

This on-site role offers a starting salary of $40,000 with benefits and a Thursday–Sunday shift pattern; health, dental, vision, and PTO are included. You’ll document steps, escalate complex issues, and contribute to a high-support culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience troubleshooting PC systems in a professional environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• CompTIA A+ Certification (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, or ticketing system.
• Diagnose and resolve Tier 1 issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Escalate unresolved or advanced issues to higher-tier support teams with proper documentation.
• Follow standard operating procedures and stay updated with technical support guidelines from the TSM.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks and assist with documentation.
• Maintain detailed logs of customer interactions and troubleshooting steps.
