Job summary

Southeastern Computer Consultants, Inc. (SCCI) is seeking a Help Desk Technician to join our on-site team in King George, VA. You will support system administrators with workstation and peripheral maintenance, ticket handling, and IT asset management.

The right candidate will have strong communication skills, knowledge of Office 365, MEM/AAD, and basic networking. A High School Diploma is required and US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret Security Clearance
• High School Diploma
• Knowledge of Office 365 Suite, Intune management, Windows Server technologies, Active Directory and Group Policy
• Ability to communicate and problem‑solve individually as well as in a team
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Knowledge of Windows 11 baseline configuration
• Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM) and Azure AD (AAD)
• Able to work under stress and maintain professionalism
• Must lift 50+ lbs occasionally

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, configure and maintain workstation and peripheral configurations
• Perform IT equipment moves for current employees and new hires
• Monitor and report client system performance
• Administer accounts, network rights, and access
• Enter, update, track and close out all assigned support tickets
• Assist with telephone system administration and configuration
• Assist with Dell warranty part replacements
• Track software licenses and physical assets
• Resolve end‑user hardware and software problems and provide training
• IT equipment disposal as needed
• Other duties as assigned
