Job summary

Manifest Solutions is seeking a Junior Field Technician for a position in Columbus, OH. You will install and test software on stand-alone computers, troubleshoot and repair hardware and software issues on district end point computers, and configure and install workstations across district sites.

You will provide frontline IT support to end users, document steps and tickets, assist with deployments and classroom technology integration, and maintain inventory records of devices such as

Qualifications

• Requires CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent experience.
• 6 months to 1 year of endpoint hardware/software experience is acceptable in lieu of certification.
• Valid State of Ohio driver’s license.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical users.
• Physical ability to install and repair computer equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Installs and tests software on stand-alone computers.
• Troubleshoots and repairs hardware and software issues on district end point computers.
• Configures and installs computer workstations.
• Diagnoses and resolves hardware/software problems promptly.
• Provides technical assistance to end users and IT service desks.
