Job summary

Pomeroy is seeking an experienced IT Field Technician to deliver hands-on end-user support for Windows and macOS environments, printers, and enterprise IT infra. You will operate in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting, independently resolving issues, managing tickets and assets, and escalating complex problems as needed.

The role requires 3+ years in field or desktop support, imaging PCs, and proficiency with SCCM, Active Directory, and Office 365. Lifting up to 40 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on IT field or desktop support.
• Experience with ticket management and IT asset management.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting hardware and software.
• Experience supporting Windows XP, Windows 10, and Windows 11.
• Experience supporting macOS and iOS devices.
• Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Office/M365.
• Experience imaging PCs with SCCM and imaging tools.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support for hardware and equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and peripherals.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, and printers.
• Imaging PCs and deploying via SCCM or standalone installs.
• Support Windows and macOS environments including Office 365.
• Manage and update support tickets and asset inventory.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams.
• Educate end users and ensure operational readiness.
