Job summary

Volt is hiring a Desktop Field Services Specialist in San Diego, CA. The role is full-time with a 8:30am–5:00pm schedule, Monday to Friday. Compensation ranges from $24.00 to $26.00 per hour DOE, with benefits including health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) and more.

Qualifications

• Experience providing desktop IT support.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Familiarity with remote access and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, diagnose and troubleshoot IT issues for desktops, laptops, and network services.
• Provide timely resolution or escalation to appropriate technical personnel.
• Update incidents in the ticketing system (Remedy Force) and communicate status to users.
• Support and maintain relationships with users.
• Install/configure network printers, scanners, and other peripherals; perform desktop imaging and deployment.
