Job summary

AWT, a leading manufacturer of labels and packaging, is hiring an IT Client Support Technician for our Minneapolis, MN facility. The role focuses on PC deployment and basic IT support on-site, supporting production and front-office technologies.

Hours are 8am–5pm, M–F with possible adjustments for production needs. This entry-level position offers growth opportunities within the IT organization and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years IT support experience.
• Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
• Experience configuring and administering Microsoft Intune and Autopilot a plus.
• Team oriented and self-motivated.
• Aptitude to learn, grow and stay current with technology evolution.
• Level 1-2 hands-on experience supporting LAN/WLAN technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support core IT infrastructure through PC builds and configurations.
• Unpack new hardware, and prepare configured hardware for shipment.
• Physically deploy client hardware to end users.
• Assist end users with new PC logins, use, and configuration.
• Provide general IT service desk functions and end user support.
• Assist in projects and efforts driven by AWT leadership.
• Contribute ideas and recommendations to IT leadership within overall AWT IT.
• Take work direction from IT infrastructure leadership and Senior IT peers.
• Work within applicable AWT IT and Security policies.
• Assist in general IT troubleshooting as needed.
