Job summary

McKee Foods Corporation is hiring an IT Asset Technician to join the Corporate IT Asset team. You will manage the full hardware lifecycle from staging to decommission and serve as the on-site escalation point for hardware issues.

The role emphasizes hands-on support, asset tracking in Freshservice, and collaboration with IT teams to standardize hardware across facilities. On-site work in Collegedale, TN is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years hands-on computer hardware assembly, repair, and deployment experience.
• Experience diagnosing and fixing hardware on-site.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and Windows OS environments.
• Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage physical hardware lifecycle: receiving, staging, deploying, tagging, and decommissioning.
• Provide on-site escalation for workstations, laptops, mobiles, and peripherals when remote help fails.
• Track assets, lifecycle statuses, and tickets in Freshservice.
• Enroll devices, deploy images, and provision hardware using WS1.
• Deliver and configure workstations across local facilities.
• Diagnose and repair hardware and research root causes of faults.
• Support IT standardization to lower total cost of ownership.
