Job summary

McKee Foods Corporation in Collegedale, TN is seeking an IT Asset Technician to join the Corporate IT Asset team. You will own end-user hardware lifecycle management—from staging and deployment to decommission—and serve as the local hands-on escalation point when remote Help Desk cannot resolve hardware issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of hands-on computer hardware assembly, repair, component replacement, and Windows/mobile deployment.
• Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix complex hardware on-site.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and Windows OS platforms.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Manage physical hardware lifecycle processes including receiving, staging, deploying, auditing, asset tagging, and decommissioning equipment.
• Provide on-site escalation support for workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals when remote Help Desk fails to resolve the issue.
• Track hardware assets, lifecycle statuses, and escalated tickets using Freshservice.
• Execute device enrollment, image deployment, and hardware provisioning utilizing Workspace ONE (WS1).
• Deliver, install, wire, and configure physical computer setups for end users across local facilities.
• Diagnose, repair, or replace failed components and research root causes for recurring faults.
• Support IT standardization efforts to lower total cost of ownership (TCO).
