Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking an On-Site Supervisor to manage key supply functions at the Wichita location. You will monitor inventory systems, coordinate with customers and carriers, and ensure timely replenishment and data accuracy to support service levels.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED and 4+ years in related roles, with strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Wichita, KS.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and four (4) or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Ability to work cross functionally and with personnel at all levels.
• General knowledge of industrial products and supply chain systems required.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and disposes of obsolete and non-moving inventory.
• Ensures availability of product through the monitoring and oversight of inventory systems.
• Resolves issues with customers and between shipping locations, carriers, receiving departments, inventory analysts, and buyers.
• Identifies and corrects root causes of inventory discrepancies at Distribution Centers and recommends changes.
• Acts as liaison between customer, sales, customer service and carriers.
• Advises on trends in demand that could affect service levels.
• Develops customer inventories through replenishment system analysis and operations.
