Job summary

NOVEC in Gainesville, VA is seeking a Warehouse/Inventory Associate to maintain inventory accuracy, process shipping and receiving, and support work orders. This on-site role requires attention to detail and teamwork to meet cycle counts and efficiency goals.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year in warehousing or inventory. Knowledge of Excel and inventory software is preferred, with opportunities for growth and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in warehousing, inventory, or parts distribution preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Basic math and computer skills to use inventory systems and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Issue and credit materials with high fill rates and accuracy.
• Operate CDL equipment and other motorized equipment.
• Coordinate with crews on material priority requirements and change orders.
• Process shipping and receiving.
• Analyze materials and work orders.
• Collaborate over work orders.
• Compile information for work orders and conduct cycle/test counts.
• Investigate discrepancies with work orders.
