Job summary

Parkland Health is seeking a on-site Logistics/Supply Chain professional to ensure supplies and equipment are available for the wards and departments. The role manages on-hand levels, min/max, reorder points, and performs daily quality inspections while maintaining an organized, safe environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in logistics, experience in healthcare, and familiarity with SAP and barcoding tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 3 years in Logistics/ Supply Chain Management, preferably in healthcare.
• One year experience as a Supply Chain Apprentice with Parkland.
• Equivalent education/experience acceptable.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures and ERP usage.

Responsibilities

• Accept and validate incoming orders; verify against packing slips and report discrepancies.
• Perform replenishment and distribution processes within SAP with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain inventory par levels, rotate stock, and manage shelf life.
• Conduct daily/weekly/monthly cycle counts and inventory checks.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and proper handling of supplies.
