Job summary

Kratos Industries, LLC is hiring an Inventory Control Specialist for first shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Mon-Fri) on site in Golden, CO. The role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, performing daily cycle counts, and coordinating with Production, Planning, and Quality teams to ensure materials are properly identified, labeled, and stored.

Responsibilities include investigating discrepancies, reconciling transactions, and supporting annual inventory activities.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Office Suite and Microsoft Excel.
• 2–5 years inventory management experience.
• Lean Manufacturing/warehouse environment experience.
• ERP system experience; Jobboss2 a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts of raw materials and WIP.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis to identify and correct variances.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through timely transaction review and reconciliation.
• Support annual physical inventory activities and audit preparation.
• Monitor inventory locations and ensure materials are properly identified, labeled, and stored.
• Issue raw materials to production jobs in accordance with work orders and production schedules.
• Review and validate inventory transactions for accuracy, including receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, and returns.
• Support kitting activities by ensuring required materials are available and staged for shipping.
• Develop and recommend process enhancements to improve inventory accuracy, material flow, and operational efficiency.
• Work closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, and Quality departments to support operational requirements.
