Job summary

ANDRITZ is seeking a capable Site Supervisor to oversee installation activities for turbine, generator, BOP and related systems in a large hydroelectric project in Bakersfield, CA. You will lead the installation team, ensure work quality, safety, and adherence to contract requirements and drawings, coordinating interfaces with partners and customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in foreman, site supervisor and/or manager roles for hydroelectric turbines/generators/BOP.
• Experience on large, complex construction projects.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and procedures.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards.
• Familiarity with applicable US standards.
• Ability to identify non-conformances and organize the work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation works in accordance with contract specs, drawings and installation documentation.
• Hands-on installation and manage installation team on site.
• Coordinate interfaces with internal resources, other contractors and client.
• Maintain safe, cost-effective execution and progress according to schedule.
• Prepare daily logs and input to weekly/monthly reports.
