Job summary

ANDRITZ is seeking a Site Manager to oversee on-site execution in Charlotte, NC. You will direct installation, coordinate labor and subcontractors, ensure safety and quality, and maintain clear communication with project managers and customers.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in turbine/generator field work, strong leadership, and fluent English. Travel and overtime flexibility are required for complex projects with long durations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in turbine and generator field work.
• Experience on large, complex construction projects.
• Proven leadership and client relationship skills.
• Proficiency reading engineering drawings and contract requirements.
• Knowledge of OSHA and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Hire and manage site labor and subcontractors.
• Manage labor hours and project costs.
• Primary contact to union dispatcher when applicable.
• Direct supervision of the site team.
• Manage site schedule and provide feedback to project manager.
• Manage health, safety and environmental matters.
• Prepare site logs using ANDRITZ tools and procedures.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings.
• Complete punch-list items.
• Manage customer relations on site.
• Handle change orders and cost documentation.
• Adherence to customer/ANDRITZ requirements.
• Assist in controlling project costs and execution.
• Report status to in-office project managers.
• Report problems and actions needing resolution.
• Responsible for periodic reporting.
