Job summary

ANDRITZ in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced on-site Supervisor to lead the installation of turbines, generators, BOP and related systems. You will manage the installation team, ensure work is performed to contract specifications, drawings, and safety standards, and maintain quality records on site.

You will coordinate internal and external interfaces, optimize manning and cost, monitor progress, and prepare daily logs and weekly reports for project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in foreman/site supervisor/manager role on hydroelectric turbine projects.
• Experience on large, complex construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation works per contract specs, drawings and documentation.
• Lead installation team on site to perform required works.
• Ensure workface is qualified per specs and best practices.
• Coordinate interfaces with internal/external resources and contractors.
• Optimize site manning and control costs.
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce safety measures.
• Monitor progress and prepare installation records and reports.
• Receive goods, manage inspections, and store materials properly.
• Provide on-site training to client personnel.
• Input for final as-built drawings.
