Job summary

ANDRITZ is seeking a site installation supervisor in the United States, overseeing turbine, generator and balance of plant installation activities. You will ensure safe, cost-efficient execution per project schedule and specifications while coordinating with internal resources, subcontractors, and customers.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in foreman or supervisor roles on large hydroelectric projects, proficient in reading drawings, contract requirements, and safety management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in foreman, site supervisor or manager roles on hydroelectric turbine, generator, balance of plant or electrical power systems.
• Experience on large, complex construction projects.
• Knowledge of on-site safety practices and ability to manage safety on installation sites.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and contract requirements.
• Capability to coordinate interfaces with internal and external teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of installation activities for turbines, generators and BOP on site.
• Safety and cost-effective execution aligned with project schedule and specs.
• Coordinate with client, subcontractors, and partners to safeguard ANDRITZ interests.
• Hands-on management of installation team and workface qualifications.
