Job summary

Bilfinger is seeking a hands-on Construction Manager in St. Louis, MO to lead project planning, cost control, and safe execution on complex industrial sites.

The role requires coordinating with engineering, procurement, and field teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will drive schedule performance, manage cost reporting, and uphold quality standards while maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships across shutdowns and turnarounds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial construction experience in mechanical, process, or heavy industrial environments.
• Experience managing industrial construction activities and coordinating multiple work fronts.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed construction execution plans, schedules, work packages, and resource plans.
• Review drawings, specs, and packages for constructability and readiness.
• Plan and coordinate construction activities including installations, piping, and outages.
• Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Operations, and client representatives to ensure delivery.
• Manage execution to meet schedule milestones and client expectations.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions to minimize cost/schedule impact.
