Job summary

Trane Technologies in Ashland, VA is seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to perform installation, commissioning, and service for commercial systems on customer sites. You will plan, analyze, and complete assigned projects while coordinating with other trades.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required, and typically at least 2-5 years of experience in Commercial HVAC Installation.
State Contractor Licenses preferred (e.g., HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer).
Must possess a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with clean record.
Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, diagnose, repair, and start-up HVAC systems on customer sites.
Plan, analyze, and complete projects and activities on time.
Use hand tools and read drawings to mount, hang, fit, and install equipment and systems.
Ensure compliance with contracting processes and safety standards.
Perform site surveys, replacements, and start-up as needed by customers.
Coordinate with other trades and manage on-site logistics.
